# Barbican Conservatory

Goeiedag. Verborgen tussen het beton van Londen en gelegen in het iconische brutalistische [Barbican Centre](https://www.barbican.org.uk/?ref=kekness.nl), vormt de Barbican Conservatory een onverwachte groene oase in de stad. 

Deze indrukwekkende serre, geopend in 1984, herbergt meer dan 2.000 soorten (sub)tropische planten verspreid over meerdere niveaus onder een glazen dak. Het contrast tussen de brute [architectuur](https://www.kekness.nl/tag/architecture/) en al het groen... in-sane.
