# Coney Island

Vorige keer was ik lyrisch over de fotoserie van Frank Bohbot van Coney Island, deze keer is het volop genieten van het werk van [Salvador Cueva](https://www.flickr.com/photos/shavahc/albums/72157688280897143?ref=kekness.nl). Niet alleen omdat de foto’s zo awesome zijn, maar ook omdat ik een fascinatie heb voor Coney Island. Dichtbij Manhatten, maar ook weer ver genoeg en een beetje tokkie. 

Ook ben ik nog steeds een beetje in shock over het feitje dat Coney Island vroeger Conyne Eylandt heette: de plek waar Nederlanders vroeger op konijnen schoten.
