Medusae of the World uit 1910 door Alfred Goldsborough Mayer is een driedelig meesterwerk binnen de mariene zoölogie. Dit monumentale standaardwerk biedt een lekker gedetailleerd overzicht van kwallensoorten en hun taxonomie.
