# Wild, wild west

Het westen van Amerika is vrij… droog en dor. Althans, ik denk vooral aan Los Angeles, Palm Springs en hipsters in busjes onderweg naar Burning Man. Maar [Phyllis Shafer](https://www.phyllisshafer.com/oilpaintings/?ref=kekness.nl) schildert daar de natuur. Niet zo gedetailleerd dat je denkt, oeh, net een foto, maar kleurrijk genoeg om mij blij te maken.
